‘Chicago Soundscapes 6×6’ project with help from the City of Chicago

This project has been developing for a while, but it’ll see the light of day in 2015. It involves shooting six 6-minute short films around Chicago and then scoring music to them using layered, looped and processed guitar – an approach I call ‘Guitarchitecture.’

Once complete, there’ll be a premiere where the films will be shown and the score will be performed live. Funds raised from the premiere will be donated to 6 charitable organizations.

I was lucky enough to receive a Comunity Arts Assistance Program grant from the City of Chicago to help with this project.
